<p>My friend came to me with a shirt that was cut in pieces including one giant cut down the front. Her daughter had been in a terrible car accident the year before. The car was crushed. Miraculously, her daughter and the others in the car all survived. This shirt had been her daughter&#8217;s favorite. She saved it because it reminded her how lucky she and the others were. It was her miracle shirt. I turned it into a miracle pillow for her. <br></p>

Then I straight stitched all the edges.</figcaption></figure>

I felt that a satin stitch would put too much attention on the &#8220;scar.&#8221;</figcaption></figure>
