I have been a quilter for about 25 years and have had a business making T-shirt quilts for over 20 years. I live in Bellingham, Massachusetts USA with my husband and three children.
I came to quilting through a night course I took in 1999 in a local adult education program. I absolutely loved it. I could take someone else’s pattern, someone else’s fabric, follow directions, and come out with an amazing item. So fun! The T-shirt quilt business started with me making one for myself. My friends saw it and started to ask if I would make them for their kids. A side hustle was born. Then, when I made the decision to stay home with my baby, I turned it into a full business.
I make T-shirt quilts, memorial quilts, pillows, memorial ornaments, and more. You can find all things about my business Beth Sullivan Designs at my website, on my Facebook page, or on my Instagram. I also lecture to quilt guilds and teach classes in person, live via Zoom, and in my video courses at Creative Spark Online Learning.
I am reactivating my blog and hoping to share stories and photos of quilts past and present as well as cool new techniques, things I admire, and generally share my love of quilting with the world. Apparently, I have a lot to say!
